Obviously we're not exactly sure who's going to be coming at this point in time but we've outlined accommodations in your invites. There are two main variations available if what we suggest doesn't fit the billing. Firstly there is a campsite at the wedding site itself. Its pretty awesome (picnic tables, fire pits and set in amongst tall trees of the resort. Its also the cheapest option available. Campsites are $17 per night, and flush toilets and cool water showers are included with the campsite. Spots are limited though, so let us know if you think this option is best for you.
The second option is the casino. We've stayed there and the room was really nice, though I'm going to warn any vegetarians to stay away from the food (probably true for meat eaters too but you'll at least have some choice). We'll be running a shuttle up and down to the mountain (about 20-25 minutes). Check back for details about the shuttle closer to the date, or we will let you know the particulars.
Further afield there are other options in Julian (really quaint mining town mostly known for apple pie) and Escondido (more centrally located) but these places are around a hour away so much less convenient. We have pretty much absorbed all the cabins on Palomar, but vrbo.com is a great site to find other nearby places that may be available.
For those of you who want to visit the coast and our lovely town of Encinitas before or after the wedding, we are happy to suggest some options for you. Just send us a message:
